L’Archange, literally meaning archangel, is an angel of high rank. How appropriately named this wine is if you enjoy the more Old World styled Chardonnay. The variety originated in the Burgundy wine region of eastern France, but is now grown pretty much wherever wine is produced, from England to New Zealand and its characteristics will vary widely depending on where your Chardonnay is from. L’Archange is a throwback to what made this grape so popular. Fresh, lemony and a mineral nose that is quite light and pure. Elegance in a glass.
