In a perfect world, everyone would have a drink of Champagne every evening, and if it’s not from Champagne, then it is not Champagne. Champagne has to be produced from specific types of grapes grown in the Champagne region following rules that demand, among other things, specific vineyard practices, sourcing of grapes exclusively from designated places within the Champagne region and using specific grape-pressing methods and secondary fermentation of the wine in the bottle to cause carbonation….the fizz. On the nose- fruity and aromatic whilst on the palate, it is well rounded and delicious with intense notes of red fruit.
